It was a bright and early business trip as the meet time for the Lady Apaches was scheduled in the Sanger High School wrestling room at 4:45 am for a 5 am departure to Central Valley High School in Ceres, CA for The Central Valley Girls Duels Invitational.
10 Lady Apaches made up the Sanger High Dual team for the day. The Lady Apaches had a total if 5 duals on the day with 4 of them being opponents from out of the Central Section.
12 teams participated in the dual tournament and Sanger was the #4 seed.
The Lady Apaches took on the #9 seed EL Capitan first round.

Next the Lady Apaches took on the #10 seed Modesto High School.
Final: Sanger 48 Modesto 9
The third match of the day the Lady Apaches took on Menlo-Atherton. It was a close battle and came down to the last match.

Next Sanger advanced to the championship pool taking on a tough Del Oro High School team. Sanger Sophomore Alyssa De-Jesus picked up the only victory for Sanger.

The final match of the was against a tough Central Section opponent Golden Valley High School of Bakersfield.

The Apaches take home the 3rd Place trophy along with the tournaments fastest pin from Sanger 106 pounder Merijah Morales in :08 seconds.
